These terms apply when you use roofero.co.uk and request a quote or survey through Roofero (“we”, “us”). Roofero is an online platform run by Plonico Ltd that connects you with qualified roofing professionals. The roofing work itself is carried out by those professionals, and is covered by the written quote or agreement they give you, as well as the points below. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Using this website
This website gives information about our roofing services and lets you ask for a quote. Please use it lawfully and give us accurate information. Do not misuse the site, attempt to interfere with it, or send us spam through the form or chat.
Quotes and surveys
- Asking for a quote through Roofero is free and carries no obligation. Unless the professional tells you otherwise in writing, their survey is free too.
- Anything we say through the form, the live chat, WhatsApp or by phone is guidance only. A price becomes a firm quote only when the professional sends it to you in writing after seeing the roof, and it states what is included and how long it stays valid.
- If we find something unexpected once work starts, such as hidden damage, the professional should tell you before carrying on and agree any change with you in writing.
Who carries out the work
Roofero is a trading name of Plonico Ltd (company number 17007882, registered office 107 Brondesbury Park, London, NW2 5JL). Plonico Ltd runs the platform: it takes your enquiry, matches your job to a suitable professional on the platform, and tells you who will visit before they arrive. Plonico Ltd does not carry out roofing work itself. The professional who surveys and carries out the work is an independent business, and your contract for the work is with them, not with Plonico Ltd. Their written quote names the business you are contracting with.
What Plonico Ltd is responsible for
Plonico Ltd is responsible for running this website and platform with reasonable care and skill, for handling your information as set out in our Privacy policy, and for dealing with your enquiry and any complaint about the service we provide. We do not guarantee that a professional will be available for every job.
Booking work
A contract for roofing work is formed between you and the professional when you accept their written quote and they confirm a start date. Dates depend on weather and site access, so they should keep you informed and agree a new date if the weather stops work.
Cancelling
If you agree to work at your home or away from the professional's premises, you normally have 14 days from accepting the quote to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask them to start sooner, you may have to pay for the work already done. The professional should explain this when you accept the quote. These rights do not apply to genuine emergency repairs you ask to be carried out straight away.
Our responsibility to you
The professional who carries out your work must do so with reasonable care and skill, using suitable materials, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires, and is responsible to you for that work. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss of profit or business.

Photographs on this site show roofing work and are included to give you an idea of the kind of work done by professionals on the platform. Services, materials and availability can change, so please confirm details with us before relying on them. Content on this website, including the Roofero name, logo and photographs, belongs to us or is used with permission, and may not be copied without our written consent.

We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites we link to, such as WhatsApp.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please tell us by phone or WhatsApp on 07946 872141, or email info@roofero.co.uk, and we will do our best to put it right quickly. If your complaint is about work done by a professional, we will pass it to them and help you reach a resolution.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts.
